Ghana Nuts manufactures and distributes 100% natural refined and unrefined Shea butter (Butyrospermum Parkii) derived from Shea nuts that are ethically and sustainably harvested in Ghana, West Africa.

We use raw shea kernels to organically manufacture our shea butter. The Shea kernels are cleaned, crushed, roasted, and processed into a paste, which is then kneaded into an emulsion. The fat is then removed, dehydrated, and chilled to make the solid Shea butter. Both chemical extraction and the usage of animal byproducts are not used in the production process.

Our Shea butter is of the best quality available, and because of the way it is produced, all of its medicinal benefits are preserved, making it perfect for use in cosmetics.

Shea butter is majorly used in cosmetic, food, and pharmaceutical industries. It delivers improved benefit to skin and hair that helps in nourishment and hydrating the skin. Furthermore, it is used for treating skin rash, eczema, insect bites, and poison ivy. In addition, it helps in reducing fine lines and wrinkles, and is particularly effective at treating rough skin. It is also used by soap makers and massage oil manufacturers, typically in small amounts, because it has plenty of unsaponifiables, and higher amounts result in a softer soap that has less cleaning ability.
